By Neha saini On September 9, 2024, Jayam Ravi, one of the well-known actors, who starred in many successful films like ponniyin selvan, and Thani Oruvan, filed for divorce after 15 years of marriage with Aarti Ravi. It comes as a shock to the industry, as they were considered one of the power couples in the South. Although the couple has not revealed any reasons behind this, people were quick to put out several rumors in regards to this matter.
Aarti, who was targeted by the media as the reason for divorce, has come out with a statement to put an end to these rumors. She posted a written statement, with her signature, clarifying a few things for us.
In her statement, Aarti says that, she was shocked to hear about the divorce filings as she had no knowledge about it. It was evident from her statement, that the relationship is estranged for a while, and she has been trying to talk about this personally with Jayam Ravi. But she did not expect divorce papers and that too in this manner as she did not give consent to public postings like this.
She also says that the decision was onesided and she is willing to work this out, if she is presented with an opportunity. Despite all this pain, she is putting her children before anything else, trying to protect them from this situation.
And last but not least, she is grateful for all the people who supported her during these difficult times.
